Your final track is a somber remix of the prelude track. “Found in the Stars” had a tune that captures the early stages of a deep friendship. “Choosing Sides” captures the magnitude Thane and Ciena’s relationship has evolved to, and the pain of having to let all of it go because it’s impossible for either of them to follow each other any longer. Idk if anyone noticed this. I did; bravo @Cammillerfilms

The Wrecking ball hitting the bleacher wall was too much, I broke into tears. I grew up in the sixties, I was 5 in '65 when I saw my first game. You have to understand, when a kid first walked with his dad up that ramp with your hot dog and Coke, and dad with his dog and big cup of Hudepohl beer ("Hudie"), and you SAW that GREEN, a shad of Green that the Almighty saved for Baseball Palaces alone, imprinted itself forever on your retinas and brain. Then your olfactory senses were overwhelmed by the melange of Beer, cut grass, the stray whiffs from the Ivorydale plant, Hot dogs and CIGAR SMOKE. Every gentleman, it seemed, used to smoke cigars at the ol' ball orchard (as Joe Knuxhall used to say-- "What a night at the ol' Ball Orchard." This is off topic but if you will indulge me: One of my strong childhood memories and indeed into my 40's, was Joe knuxhall saying, as my dad and I drove home from the park or, I was listening at home on my radio, "This is the Ol' left-hander rounding third and heading for home-- g'night everybody." I think it no exaggeration that this phrase looms in many a Cincinnatian's Comfort Nostalgia Vault. Love ya Knux!!

This track is truly a work of art. The book had a hold on me for almost two months after I finished it. I constantly envisioned a tv series adaptation. I can’t make one, but this novel actually made me want to pick up a pencil and learn to illustrate my visions on a canvas.

LOVE it, Cam! My favorite is the walking up towards a bottom part of Roebling Bridge, then seeing the same sight with Riverfront Stadium decades ago. Riverfront Stadium was functional, but it was beautiful in October, with all the bunting, and 50,000-plus fans in attendance for every game!

Baseball made a big mistake when it went along with building all those horrid round multi-use stadiums in the 60’s and 70’s. I wonder how much of the ascendance of NFL football in the following decades was due to playing in those monstrosities.

Excellent documentary (I enjoyed the one that focused on the Reds, too). I like how you described the stadium as a “machine”. Say what you will about the donut era of stadia, they were both cost efficient (two sports, one stadium) and functional. Being a Steeler fan, I am, of course, partial to Three Rivers, but I always thought Riverfront (god, I miss those descriptive names for stadiums) had the more elegant appearance. Memories.

Thank you for doing this video. Harry was a relative of ours and it is nice to see people still remember him. He was the NL runner up batting champ in 1906 with a .327 average behind Honus Wagner. And then won the World Series in 1907 and 1908. So, he had a great run while on the Cubs. It's sad to see his career cut short by his health issues.

I wish I could've seen a game there at Crosley Field. I would've loved the place. I was born in Cincinnati, and got to see my first game in Riverfront Stadium in 1970 or 1971. The Reds beat the San Diego Padres that day, 5-1. As a 6 or 7 year old child, I got hooked on Reds baseball immediately and am still a fan to this day.

I just found 3 pristine photos of Crosley. Well actually my wife found them and I looked at them and said, "Hey that is Crosley Field!" My Mom is in the Hospital and we were going through her things to straighten up her room. Those pictures were found. They look like they were taken yesterday. They are not reprints. Those photos were inside a old envelope. She was from Piqua, Oh and always used to talk about going to see the Red Legs as a small kid. I am going to put them in a nice photo album for her.

Went there as a Cincinnati kid. Loved it. Saw quite a few kids at Detroit Field too. Lovely. When I was 12 we moved to Riverfront Stadium. My Dad and Uncles ere very excited, so I was too..... until I went for the 1st time. Sterile, no atmosphere, nothing but a "plex." They all said I was nuts. Never liked it. So 30 years later they build new fake Crosley Field. Brilliant. Lesson: if a 12-year old baseball fan thinks your ballpark stinks, it probably stinks.
